Eating out every day is not only an expensive habit, but fast food and restaurant food usually aren’t the healthiest and can actually make you feel MORE tired and lethargic. Bringing your own lunch is the best way to know exactly what you are eating and how many nutrients you’re getting. Munching on healthy snacks throughout the day is another great way to fuel your brain with what it needs to focus. When packing your lunch, make sure to throw in a few snacks for work as well.
Get Some Fresh Air
Being cooped up indoors all day can not only feel lonely and isolating, but it can also lead to stress. Because of this, it is important to try to break up the day by stepping outside and getting some fresh air. If you typically spend your lunch break eating alone at your desk, try going outside and sitting in a nearby park or grassy area. Do you have a lot of meetings that seem to occupy your work day? Disciplining yourself to focusing on the tasks at hand and not getting distracted by things that can wait until later is key to reducing stress and finding your balance.
