Pigeons can do a lot of harm to the building structure besides causing many infectious diseases. There are many efficient methods to deter pigeons from settling or breeding. All bird drops or nest resources must be thoroughly cleaned before these devices are mounted.

Birth Control Measures

The company says these birth control medicines can be supplied to pigeons by a variety of techniques. The method involves the use of different shapes and sized tanks carrying the medicine to match all pigeons’ feeding need on-site. Vessels should be punctured to facilitate draining. This approach is suggested only for places where the group comprises fewer than 50 pigeons.

Other techniques include field feed where the medicine is spread across a field of not more than 20 feet wide. And third is automatic feeding, a process used only for pigeons’ flock of more than 50 pigeons. Mechanical feeders should only be used in rooftop locations or plain pavements with little or no accessibility.

Ultrasonic bird control devices

These devices emit lower and higher distracting frequencies that don’t harm humans. Periodic and irritating ultrasonic sounds make the place unlivable for nuisance birds who then migrate somewhere else. These relatively low systems may be useful for elevated traffic centers since they are discreet.

Sonic devices
