Meluha The Fern is now an ‘ECOTEL’
Meluha The Fern, a hotel in Mumbai managed by Concept Hospitality, has recently been certified as an ‘ECOTEL’. This is a prestigious acknowledgment of a hotel’s environment commitments. Instituted in 1994 by HVS, the certification is based on the highest standards of operational efficiency and is awarded only after stringent auditing.
With the certification, the hotel can now add the ‘ECOTEL’ tag to its name, giving it instant recognition for its work. The hotel also becomes the 9th hotel in India to join an elite global collection of ‘eco’ hotels. Located at Hiranandani Gardens Powai, Mumbai, the hotel has 141 rooms and suites, each designed to give guests the feeling of space, comfort and luxury. All the amenities in the rooms are eco-friendly where plastic and other non-biodegradable products have been avoided as part of the eco-initiatives.
