Cycling 10km in 30 minutes will burn about 200 calories so if you are doing the return too each day you are burning bat least around 400 calories which isn't bad. That is probably more than your breakfast (so long as you are not going crazy!). That's about the same as 2 eggs and 2 slices of toast. A bowl of porridge is around 250 etc - so yes so long as you are not overheating because you have exercised you can't help but loose weight!

Hello Madam,
This is a very useful article. Thanks!
I want to ask something. I ride bicycle everyday, 10 km to office and return journey of 10 km to flat. On Sundays, I ride 10 km. I have a normal ranger bicycle without gear and it takes me 30 min to reach 10 km distance. Will it beneficial for loosing weight? (10 km in 30 min).

Thank You.
