A: It’s important to understand that dieting is about options and not about restrictions. It is about making the right food choices, enjoying foods you love in moderation and becoming healthier and not just slim/thin. Here are some suggestions that will help you maintain weight.

  • Never skip meals, especially your breakfast.
  • Make sure to have three main meals [i.e. breakfast, lunch, dinner] and snack in between on fruits, popcorn, kurmura, and khakhras.
  • Limit your intake of tea/coffee to 2/3 cups a day.
  • Drink plenty of water.
  • Avoid eating fried foods and excess sweets.
  • Exercise daily.
