Small Gestures, Big Happiness

Like air, water, and sunlight, Happiness too is an invaluable gift of nature, freely available for each of us. Happiness is easy to give and easy to receive. In fact, even observing Happiness makes one happy.

We are listing below a few simple but powerful ways to spread the epidemic of Happiness....If you have infection ideas, please send us an email at happinessmovement@completewellbeing.com

Surprise your friend by sending him/her a hand-written letter. Your personal touch will touch your friend's heart

Give your mom a warm, tight hug. Hugs are proven to have a healing effect. She'll feel great. You'll feel blessed

On a hot, sunny day, treat a small street child to a refreshing Ice Cream & enjoy the look of satisfaction & happiness on the child's face. ~Contributed by Akanksha Sinha

If you're married and have older children, take them for a adventure trek. They'll be thrilled

I did something to add to the happiness movement this morning. My husband missed his flight this morning so I woke up early and booked him on the next flight! ~ Contributed by Radhika Karle-Ghorpade, MSc

Offer someone your seat in the train/bus

On a long drive, pay a toll for the car behind you and leave a "have a good day" for the occupants with the toll attendant. The "absolute stranger/s" will be delighted!

Married men, give your wife a break and cook a meal for your entire family

Too busy? At least you can manage to take home a family pack of ice cream

Appreciate a colleague or a subordinate for his/her routine work

Spare some time and visit an orphanage or an old age home. The inmates there are hungry for love. Their smiles are guaranteed gloom-busters

If you're married man, tell your wife something special, like "You look beautiful" or "I love you more each morning". You'll make her day.

If you're a married woman, write down all the good traits of your husband, and leave the list in his lunch box

Couples, browse your honeymoon pictures together—with your children, if any

Listen to your favourite music

Recall one of your most happy memories, write it down in detail and send it too all those who were part of that memory
